The day after Blue Monday can feel especially heavy, and there’s a reason. Blue Monday, often referred to as the “saddest day of the year,” falls in mid-January when the excitement of the holidays has faded, the days are short and cold, routines feel demanding, and our bodies naturally move into a slower, quieter rhythm.

Whether or not the label is scientific, the feelings many of us experience this time of year are very real and completely natural.

This restorative yoga class with Melanie Walsh is designed to support your nervous system, soothe the endocrine system, and offer gentle practices that help ease stress, overwhelm, and seasonal heaviness. Expect grounding postures, deep rest, breath work, and space to reconnect with yourself.

Come as you are, cozy, comfy, and completely welcome. Wear your softest sweats, your favourite yoga outfit, or even your pajamas. Bring a warm drink, a blanket, and anything else that makes you feel cared for. Together, we’ll settle into community, warmth, and calm.
